Brendan V. Hallinan is a third-generation San Francisco attorney with a distinguished legal pedigree and a record of accomplished advocacy spanning two decades.
His grandfather, Vincent Hallinan, was widely recognized as one of the nation’s premier trial attorneys — earning a reputation as “The Toughest Lawyer in Town” in mid-20th century San Francisco. His father, Terence Hallinan, carried on that legacy as a formidable trial lawyer and trailblazing politician, serving as a San Francisco County Supervisor and two-term District Attorney.
Admitted to the California Bar in 2004, Brendan has built a diverse practice rooted in that same tradition of zealous, principled advocacy. His career has spanned solo practice, co-founding Hallinan & Hallinan, PC, in-house counsel work for small businesses, and landmark cannabis law representation — including securing full legal approval for the Barbary Coast Dispensary, the first Amsterdam-style cannabis consumption lounge in the United States.
Brendan now serves as Of Counsel with Armada Law Corp, where he brings his extensive experience to bear on behalf of Bay Area businesses and entrepreneurs. His practice focuses on:
- Business Formation & Structuring
- Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation
- Commercial Litigation
- Real Estate Law
- Cannabis Law & Regulatory Compliance
- General Counsel Services for Small & Mid-Size Businesses
Based in San Francisco and serving clients throughout the Bay Area and Northern California, Brendan is committed to delivering clear, strategic legal guidance with the tenacity his family name has always represented.
